Friday,  February 2, 2018 Dar Un Noor/Atlanta Science Academy had it’s first induction ceremony into the National Honor Society. 4th -8th graders qualified for the National Beta Club and 9th – 12th grades were inducted into the National Honor Society. 
 

“Between the Junior Beta (grades 4-8) and Senior Beta (grades 9-12), the organization has helped nearly seven million students learn how to make a life for themselves—and, since 1991, it has awarded over $6 million in scholarships. There are now more than 500,000 active members and more than 8,750 clubs nationally and internationally. It has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. The National Beta Scholarship Program offers over $300,000 in scholarships to outstanding Beta members in their 12th grade year. Over 250 scholarships are awarded each year, ranging in value from $1,000 to $15,000. Since 1991, Beta has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships. “
