DNA Atlanta Science Academy is an accredited(by AdvancED and Georgia Accrediting Commission) full time school which serves PreK-High School students.It offers licensed(by Bright From the Start) Pre-K programs and outstanding academic instruction with STEM emphasis for Kindergarten through High School. We apply Common Core-Georgia Performance Standards via the most up to date curriculums.DNA Atlanta Science Academy utilizes nationally recognized ,research based assessment tools such as NWEA MAP and ITBS.Our students score higher than national averages in these tests .Having a very competitive curriculum,our high school students have been successful in PSAT tests and passing the AP tests with a high percentage. Our teachers possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as well as state teaching certificate and many have ten years or more experience in the classroom.
Dar Un Noor was established in 1990 located in West Midtown Atlanta, Georgia as a K-8th Grade full time school. In 2015 ,Dar Un Noor Academy established its High School named Atlanta Science Academy in the same facility.It is a private, non profit, educational institution. Since its inception, Dar-Un-Noor has evolved into a vibrant academy that provides quality education as well as providing an environment that promotes and supports Islamic tradition, values, and morals.
DNA Atlanta Science Academy offers classes for Pre-K through High School.Dar-Un-Noor prides itself in academic excellence by offering our student body a curriculum that competes with local traditional private schools. Each of our classrooms has a low student teacher ration on average 1:10.DNA is a non selective, co-educational, independent school with a multinational student body. Our campus stands approximately on 3.5 acre located along 14th Street in Midtown Atlanta. Classes are held in two storied modern school building which is equipped with science lab, computer lab, STEM room,library, dining hall. Additionally, the campus provides a basketball court, a grass playing field and a playground for younger children until ongoing GYM construction has been completed.
DNA Atlanta Science Academy is divided into four sections: Pre-Kindergarten (3 years old and 4 years old); Elementary School (K-5); Middle School (6 – 8) and High School(9-12).
